He’s especially passionate about working with veterans, first-time homebuyers, and anyone who could use a steady, honest guide in their real estate journey. For John, it’s never just about the transaction—it’s about helping people feel confident, cared for, and empowered from start to finish.
Before joining the Sherley team, John served 19 years in the U.S. Army before medically retiring. He went on to run a successful construction business, and throughout the years has stayed active in the Helena community as a volunteer coach, hunter education instructor, and Reserve law enforcement officer. His life has always centered around service—something he now brings to each and every client relationship.
Originally from Great Falls and raised in Helena, John graduated from Helena High School—where he met his wife, Kira. Together, they’re raising three amazing kids and enjoying life in the community they love.
